From Ascot to Indy, Barefoot Billy has raced dirt and asphalt for some of the most "hold your breath figure eight" racing you will ever experience. Billy ain't no hick from the sticks... he just don't own any shoes! (except the ones he wears for racing...)

Mike and Billy took on the full 2009 schedule at the Toyota Speedway in Irwindale, California. Billy raced the 2009 season Outlaw Figure 8 schedule at the Toyota Speedway in Irwindale, California with this record:
March 21st - While passing a lapped car for the second time, Barefoot Billy sustained a cut to his left front tire. As a result, he had to run the last nine laps with a flat tire; but, he was still able to place third in this race.
April 18th - Barefoot Billy qualified with the fastest time and placed first in the main event.
May 2nd - At the beginning of the race, Barefoot hit the tractor tire that marks the course. This sent his front end out of alignment, but he managed to place second in the race.
June 6th - Barefoot was number one in qualifying. He started on the pole; but, after the 3rd lap, the clutch let go. He had to pull off the track in the 13th lap.
June 27th - Barefoot Billy had the fastest time and won the main event.
July 25th - Barefoot spun early in the race but caught the leaders eleven laps later. In the twelfth lap, he got tangled with car #07. This spun him backwards over the finish line to place third with #07 on his hood.
August 22nd - Barefoot placed third in the main event.
September 12th - Barefoot had fast time and placed first in the main event.
October 31st - In the West Coast Figure 8 Championship at Toyota Speedway of Irwindale, Barefoot raced in the Twin 50 Lap race where he qualified in 3rd place. In the first 50 laps, he took the lead during lap 35 and won the first 50 laps. Coming out for the next 50 laps, Barefoot was scrubbing his tires and got a flat. He came back and started 14th. Then, he raced his way up to 3rd place and finished 3rd for the second 50 laps.
Barefoot won the Trophy Dash at the race track in San Bernardino at the Orange Show Fair Grounds on Saturday May 16, 2009.
At the Orange Show Grounds Lucas Oil 200 in the Twin 100 lap race on Saturday October 24th, 2009, Barefoot Billy qualified 3rd best time. On lap 11 of the first 100 laps, he hit a car in the intersection and broke his steering. His car was fixed for the next 100 laps where Barefoot finished in sixth place.
